robodev program
Since February 10, 2024, the RoboDev
program has provided an opportunity for young
students to explore technology and innovation
through hands-on workshops and competitions.
This initiative, led by the IEEE CS ISTIC SBC, in
collaboration with the IEEE WIE ISTIC AG, IEEE
RAS ISTIC SBC, and in partnership with the the
Ben Arous Youth Cultural and Sports Center,
focuses on developing kids' skills in robotics and
web development.
Through interactive Arduino-based robotics
sessions and introductory web development
workshops some of which were led by our
dedicated members. The program empowers
children not only to learn but also to showcase
their talents, as they have already participated in
multiple robotics competitions and achieved
remarkable success. RoboDev aims to inspire the
next generation of innovators by merging
education and competition in a supportive
community.
silicon valley event
Our internal event, “Silicon Valley: Innovation and
Entrepreneurship,” inspired students to explore the world
of tech startups. Participants were randomly assigned to
teams, each tasked with presenting project ideas focused
on themes like disruptive technology, digital
transformation, and social impact, along with proposed
solutions and potential market impact.
Following each presentation, a Q&A session with mentors
offered valuable insights. By the event's end, two teams
decided to start developing their website ideas.
